The feeling.
Recently, about 2 weeks ago I took part in a Muaythai 'friendly' competition which wasnt really very friendly~ Fought a friend whom i knew who was abt eh, 7kg heavier than me and on that 'friendly' match i lost. That's not really the point I am trying to emphasize though. He was good and that was it. Although I lost, I won too. I am always a winner, that's what I think of myself. Losing never dampant my spirit. Infact it fires me up more... each and everyday after the match my burning desire to step up the ring to face off with anyone who dares step up the ring rages in my mind. I will dominate all anything that comes my way. It just keep playing back in my head like this, always like that.
That's besides the point though ha. It's not really so much about what happens in the fight, as while fighting you dun really have time to feel, you just have to keep 'doing' and never think lol. And that was what I did in that match that somewhat earned me my lost. In the ring, start thinking of what to do next is The End. what one needs to do is just fight and just fight. Dont kill the match, yr match, yr chance of Victory.
Nevertheless the time which you can 'feel' the most within yourself is the period of time before you step inside the ring. It's not a feeling people get to experience in one person's normal day. But, but, if you a criminal on the run, maybe, maybe we felt the same rush of adrenaline, fear and nervousness that's almost uncontrollable regardless of how confident you might be. Cold sweat will start flowing out of you like a drug addict under going a cold turkey phase while trying to kick away the drug addiction.
The night before? sometimes sleeping becomes a problem too ha. And that's not really good you know, when rest before the match is one of the most crucial factor ha. Some cant even sleep, I dunno. It would continue until say, 10mins before the fight itself. That, was some work itself.
Then, that match itself, when I stepped into the ring, all the fear and anxiety vanished. It was then replaced by a feeling of bliss, and even joy haha... unfortunately it got a little sleepy too haha... and the sense of excitement came in too. It was like, I finally made it up here, again. I was once again in charge of my life. I took control and did what I had to do many times over what I missed.
I won, too.

Working and Money
Finally I have officially 'entered' the working world. Just last week as of 1st Oct 2007, i begun work at ministry of manpower in the work pass division as a mso(management support officer). I got this job through Recuit express through my consultant, Liz Low who was introduced to me by Nicole, my Muaythai lady friend. Thank you Nicole!
Yup so it also means that I have left The Buffet Club. Made alots of friends there and learnt alot of things. So if you still are interested in the BuffetClub feel free to let me know and I can refer you to my colleagues who are still working there =]. A very good club especially if you are a person who enjoys Buffet dining.
I would consider myself lucky to be able to go into the jobs which I have been to as of now. All of which are healthy working places with encouraging people and people with positive working attitute.
In my new work place I report to work by 8.30am everyday end go home after 6pm although Mon to Thurs the go home time is 6pm and unfortunately no OT pay de. Friday, the go home time is 5.30pm and we get to dress down hee so not so bad. Lunch time is 1pm to 2pm! It's acutally a 6 months contract though. Hopefully i would be given a full time position after 3 or 6months if I perform well! =] Then I will get an pay increment. I need to start saving.
Need to come out with a plan to save soon. Maybe some reading will help... Ready.... Action! ;)
