Mr Potato
I cooked mashed Potato today!!!

It was during this company event that I got a chance to do my own cooking~! So cool.... I kinda like the feeling of preparing my own meal! Can you imagine that? A good husband who can cook and provide for his family? =] Is this the type of guy you girls would yearn to have? ;) ha.

Anyway this event that I attended is called CPE (Corporate Planning Exercise). In this CPE we would be discussing about how we did and what we are to expect in the near future in our work. Oh yes, I also received an award titled the 'Minister for Manpower Award' together with many of the EPOL team colleagues for contributing in the development of the new EPOL system. Pretty cool aint it =] You bet.

During the whole of today's event I also got the chance to go up ('to the stage') to 'present' twice. The first time being, after the first dish we create, we have to tell the people present what it meant and why we named it the way we named it. And the name of our Vietnam Spring roll dish is Mei Qui (Rose). I described each petal, made of spring roll as each of the team member who contributed in making the dish, forming the beautiful flower, growing and working together as one beautiful entity in achieving our goals.

The next time i went up to speak is when we were to draw an image to represent each of the alphabet in the word C.A.R.E. C = Competent, A = Accessible, R = Responsive, E = Effective. As a team, we came out with ideas on what image we would like to draw to represent each of the alphabet. In the end, for C, we drew President Obama, A, I drew Toilet paper, R = my colleague Peggy drew Badminton Racket and shuttle cock, and E, I drew the Superman logo. Fun sums it all up~

Boxing
Training has been great although it has taken it's toll on me, well, atleast a little. I have been training for almost every other day other than my actual classes on Monday and Wednesday. I'd do stretching for an hour plus, else it would be gym or run to become stronger.

All this commitment i put into my training does pay off though. Just yesterday, I had a valuable lesson from my coaches, especially coach Sri on sharing of some of his secret techniques and footwork. During sparring I fared well and lasted 3 sparring partners, coming on top before ending my sparring session. I also had sparring on Monday. Taking and giving punches become part and parcel of my training but I am happy. As long as I know I am improving every single day/second I am happy.

On the 14 I shall aim for a Victory to repay what my coaches had done to help me develop as a boxer.

Signed up for mioHome plan with Singtel
Yesterday, by right going ktv with colleagues but somehow as if an epidemic broke out 4 out of 7 people fall sick?! can u imagine how miracle happen in our daily lives? it's really so amazing! *says grace* amen. nevertheless i still managed to catch a movie with nida at Century square in Tampines! I watched The story of Benjamin Button :) a 2hr 45min show which is okok bah. it was a story telling type of show with lots of flashbacks etc.

we had abt 1hr 30min before the show start so we decided to walk around abit first.. nida suggested we go singtel shop as she wanted to check if there are any deals available and so we went. in the end i was the one who went home with a great deal hee :)

I took up the mioHome 'internet' plan. on the last day of its CNY promotion. am i lucky or wad.

This plan basically bundles the LAN Line, internet broadband and Cable TV together as a package.

so, wads so good abt it? first of all i had the chance to lower down the subscription charges for my internet bills from abt $80.00 a mth to just $60.00 a month? a hefty of $20.00 savings per month! on top of that i get mioTV channels free for 1 yr, for my parents viewing pleasure only ofcoz haha coz i dun watch tv. One minus point is that I have to pay for the hse phone LAN line. My father happy until dunno like wad only coz I 'volunteered' to pay for the hse line... wandarfool ah... :p It charges only for usage in terms of outgoing calls? Hopefully i wont have to end up paying more at the end of the day. anyway it's a 30 month contract. 0.o

Visit to 2 Chinese doctors
The first one is at BLK 7 Haig Road #21-441 Spore 430007
This chinese doctor specializes in treating bone and joint problems but especially good in treating spine and shoulder problems. So just today i went to him to have my shoulder treated from injuries sustained during and after my last competition.

Bill was $70.00 for tat visit.

I then went to the next chinese TCM clinic(Quan Qi Tao) at Bedok North st 2 that is near my ah ma hse, abt 6mins walk, to have my wrists treated. tat visit cost me $40.00 ++ wonderful right? waliew... Really is 'He Ping de dai jia' sia... I even have to borrowed $22.00 from Alan, the chinese doctor friend there. -_- have to return him once I get my pay.

National selection News: Boxing

With that, every Sat there will be an additional training from 4-6pm starting from today, which i didnt and couldnt go. That was that. Good news I suppose.

CNY
Woo .. i mean Moo... This Moo year ah, sibei boring sia.... so wad did i do during this fantastic festive few days? Bai nian with my parents before they left for genting, took the 'rewards' :p, went to bai nian with my grandma, took ang bao from whoever i saw then go home ha. I did have dinner at my grandma hse too la on both the eve and Chu Yi... so yummy... ok now i am feeling hungry.... a few hours later i got to go back to work liao... sure holiday mood one.... may have to try keep my eyes open too O_o .

it's not all that bad though... i still managed to bring myself to take shower, iron my clothings for the next two days and do the dishes~ ! *pats my own back* :p er, but haven wash my clothings oops. : p *guilty*

other than that, i also managed to bring myself out of my laptop (literally) and den out of my room to go downstairs to buy macdonald for dinner tonight.... so admirable right? then there is the studying in australia reseach which i used the entire of this Tuesday but still haven finish with my fact finding. What i found out is that the course fee cost 3-4 times more expensive than studying in singapore. That is not inclusive of the daily living expenses so can u imagine.. let's see wad happens in the end.

if there is anything stopping me, it will be money and my interest.... Pens Offfffff ;)

Evolve MMA
Today Nickolas and I went to Evolve MMA (Mix Martial Arts Gym). I saw the gym with all the type of Coaches I would like to have to guide me in the Martial arts path. It was really a relieve, literally, to be able to see these people can be seen in the Singapore Martial Arts Fraternity.

Nickcolas and I were suppose to go for the MMA half an hour trial class but instead we were only able to sit and observe a Muaythai class which started at 2.30pm. Why? Firstly, we were late, very late. But why were we late? Very simply we could not find the place which was so well hidden -_- Nevertheless the Muaythai class was nothing short of inspiring for me. There were about 4 Thai coaches and 1 ex-Contender Asia fighter there to guide the 'students' who have paid a hefty of what is believed to be $235 per month for unlimited training. That, is a big sum for mid income earners like myself you know.

One thing abt the instructors there. They are all highly qualified trainers there. One early 40 coach is super particular on the correct execution of techniques. He is simply the type of coach I have been looking for, the type of coach who can perfect my technique and form for optimum performance. Just by oberving for an hour I learnt the correct technique for a lead punch, cross, elbow strike, muaythai roundhorse kick and the speed of movement while 'bouncing' to the muaythai music rythm for better balance and poise. For eg. if one moves or bounce too fast, he/she will tend to loss balance much more easily.

Beautiful.

Thereafter, I headed to orchard to meet ris. Had a great time at little india , den at PS to watch the Jack Neo film. And yeah, we had our lunch cum dinner at Thai Express. The food was good !! Yummy!! and the best part? Ris paid for it =x it cost $29.00 ++, after 10% discount from a member card a friend of hers' gave her. She ordered Beef kway teow noodles while I ordered Yellow curry with chicken and potato! to top it up, we ordered the ever delicious, crispy Kai lan and mushroom side dish... I love it!!

Yesterday. Kevin Bro.
After work I jio-ed Kevin out to catch up after our so long no contact etc. He and I caught the show 'InkHeart'. Entertaining show ba :) before that we ate dinner at Shokuho at CineLeisure. I ordered Oyster in Tomato sauce pasta while he ordered Mango smoothie and Cheezy Potato curry pizza. This time I was the one who treated. The meal cost me $37.00 -_- a heavy investment indeed, considering I have only $47.00 left in the bank before deduction. Gosh , sacrifice ha. Kev paid for the movie tickets though so yeah in that sense it aint that bad~~!

After the show we headed opposite Cineleisure at the Youth park there to drink and chat... Towards the end I got sit on his bike as he sent me home in his new Bike, a Phantom, harley davidson type of bike. He riding skills, super good. I was back home in like 15mins from Orchard to Hougang. See you soon bro.

Traveling season?
Nickcolas my young buddy cum MMA fighter is set to leave Singapore sometime next week to go overseas to study for one year. My elder bro had left for China for holiday on thursday, so have my younger sister, to HongKong? -_- next is my parents who would be siaming new year by going to Genting tmr. Whatever it is I wish them a good journey with lotsa fun =)

Happy Chinese New Year Folks~! Sorry no pictures again~! Haha...

2nd Rated Year or Month ? (for that matter)
So far for the month of January. It's been second all the way haha... 2nd in boxing competition, silver (considered 2nd) in ippt (similar to napfa/army physical fitness test). Is this a second rated season or wad haha... I wont allow it to continue, that's for sure. I never belief in settling for second best.

So, let's continue to strive and get to the top and embrace the moment. It's possible, just a matter of time. My goal, therefore is to be first rated from Febuary onwards. The perfect time for transition, just after Chinese New Year ofcoz ha.

Hmmm so many things are going on... $ is running down pretty fast... after paying my $368.00 Internet + Hp bills for December and January my pocket is like torn open by a rapist -_-.... I have like less than $100 bucks ? Oh gosh how am I going to pull through this few other weeks before the next pay day~!? God knows.

Hey! maybe the angbao money can help a little? good point there =p. Help will always be there, solutions always surface when the need arise. Blessed I am. Thank God. Abundance would be fabulous.

Studying Abroad
This subject has recently cross my mind. Infact it was highlighted to me by Jody =]. She convinced me? =] Now that I have sort of set my mind on doing that, I need to think about alot of things too. Things like the money factor, the legal factor, the recognition factor, the approval factor. Nevertheless the key focus is still the money factor whereby I need to think how I can churn out the money for the school fees and daily expenses for my time there. Btw, I am considering Studying Sports Science in Mordoch University in Western Australia if I am not wrong ? ha.. The term will start in Feb 2010. As far as I know the school is recognise here and so is the course I would like to take if I do take. Lotsa reseach will be underway~ Thanks Jo, for giving me the idea. I belief I will have an conclusion soon if my interest dun eventually take preceeding importance to education and experience on a foreign land with lots of exciting possibilities.

In life it's always good to have things to look forward to. Who knows the Govt payout in March will make my decision making alot easier ? duh..........

CNY
My parents are siaming CNY ! ha. They will be going overseas leaving me all alone at home! So who wanna spend the CNY with me??? ha. Advance notice please!! Havoc time! If it happens ha. Btw I have yet to do my new year shopping? On the hind sight, my parents and siblings have bought me new clothings for my Birthday which falls on the 15 Jan.

As for Boxing / Martial arts this is the area which I am solely concerned and take key priority in. How far can I go. When will I leave boxing to develop further as a martial artist? Do I have what it takes , the decipline to follow through? This we will discuss soon....

A great new beginning shall come ;) Dreams fufilled and Wars conquered, we pray.

17th Jan 2008 - Saturday
In the morning I went to see Nathalie off at the airport together with several of her blogger friends she got to know in Singapore, in her 4 month stint here. She will be going back to Kota Kinderbreano until the end of the month (January 09) for the chinese new year season. Hse visiting and ang bao collection all the plans.

So the 5 of us gathered. It was me, her and 3 other guys i never seen before ha. Nevertheless we broke the ice quickly and soon chatted like we knew each other since a long long time ago... It was fun, we had lunch, chatted and laughed, to the point i find it rather entertaining.

Then it was the fairwell. Goodbye~! Singapore and Hello~ Malaysia~! as what Nathalie puts it =] before boarding, Brennon and I approached 3 chio bu from Silkair to help us take a grp photo to capture the brief moment we had together. It was the evidence which we could never go back to capture the time we had there. Goodbye and see u soon Nathalie~ =)

After Nat left we went our separate ways. I headed for granny 's place while the rest headed to meet their other friends. anyway of the 3 guys, 2 are in the army and one is going to the army soon. Ofwhich one is a regular in the army. Army man!

Later in the evening I met up with rick to catch a feature film, 'The Carrot cake conversations' by a local film maker, Michael Wang if I am not wrong. It was a dialogue type of show which i belief the usual movie goers would not be able to phamtom the essense or meaning to which the director wishes to potray. Why so? It was due to the wittiness of chim jokes that was funny and that 'I' understood (Thank goodness) that made it a film that was acceptable to me, which I found entertainment value in. My investment of $8.00 on a local made film was worth the money.

Once again sorry, I did not take any pictures so nothing to see.

After the show, Rick and I headed to Cineleisure, ate at Shotoku Japanese Pasta and Pizza before boarding NR 6 and headed for home. He had Valina ice cream waffle while I had Beef Belonaise with an egg. Again, no pictures, sorry. Nevertheless, it was a meal that was value for money as the two we ordered only cost us a minimal of $22.00 + . Affordable? Yes.

That was that. I took a shower and it was then sweet dreams and good nite.

Gloves, pens and keyboard offa....

Third Boxing competition
It was close, a little disappointing but a good result. That's all I can comment about my Boxing Championship 2009. I won the first match but lost in the finals. Better luck and state next time~ Now it's time to work on the recovery of my wrist in preparation for my next fight in April =]

But anyway if you are curious why I did not take the match in the finals, I would say it's due to the fact that I did not warm up enough before I stepped into the ring. Nevertheless I made it a close match for my opponent who was a gentleman at the end of the battle. I suppose he felt for me too as he fought one less match prior to our fight. No excuses though. It was a gentleman's fight for glory. This time, he got it and I have to concede to that fact.

During the match, exhaustion seeped in almost too quickly, too quickly for my comfort.. i was losing my breath quick. I was prancing around while his supporters shouted in malay to him that i am already tired and was pleading him to dash and kill the game. It created some level of stress for me too, in the process causing me to lose concentration too. My muscles were also not listening to me as they felt sore and heavy when i needed them to be supple and flexible.. Towards the end somehow I still wished that my hand was the one raised to be crowned the champion for 2009. It didnt happen but that was how close i was. :)

I am like people as Winston Churchill, Thomas Edison and even Eeinstien. If it's going to take a few defeats before i become the Champion I truely desire, I will walk through them and Eventually, Emerge Victorious.

Gloves Off =P ....

ok i mean, pens off xp

Weekend Thus Far
I have been having lotsa fun these few days with the people that i am lucky to have around me. They are the likes of Peishi, Joanne, Daphne, Shiyu, Nick, Michael, Ruth etc..

Eg just now, we just had WPAS CPE (cORporaTe PlaNniNg ExeRciSe). We gathered at Sandor's condo, had discussion abt work and played games as well as had sumptious breakfast plus lunch.

So this was how it went... in the morning i took a cab to Jalan Kayu and Joanne picked me up with her Lexus and drove to Lot1 to pick some other colleagues before heading to our final destination. At the end of it she also sent me to Somerset.

During the time at Sandor's condo we played wii and Junga the 'brick' game. Those games really brought us lotsa laughter and fun... the atmosphere was pretty relax and cool... i have learnt to relax while being with my colleagues.

Apart from work, Daphne and I went out again yesterday. We catched The day earth stood still together at Cineleisure. Changed ticket once and went up and down cine several times just to buy the movie tickets ha. Apart from that we also makaned at Xin wang char chan ting. not bad la... ate pork chop cheese pasta lor . =] two boiled eggs and a butter and sugar toast. full dinner.

after the show which ended at abt 1plus we went to istana park there to chill... after chill and saw some weird indians stroling ard like trying to see us like that we left that place and headed for home... kk...

back to work, i am busy with my giro and hopefully i can do it well during this december period~! gotta sleep early tonight... yesterday slept so late....

lastly... i haven do my christmas shopping yet... but i have sorta churn out a list already~ ! ;) HO HO HO.....

Maid
I got a new maid!!

Amazing but true ha. Her name is something indri...wati. She is 23 (well atleast according to her). I believe that she jus came in yesterday (13th December 2008, Saturday). No notice at all!

Anyway I think it's a good thing too. That way, my mum can relax from all the hse work already.. and my level's toilet mirror is also removed off the newspaper and magazine 'wraps'. Now i can use the toilet mirror!! Hee.

She is currently using the guest room in my hse too.

That's abt the maid news.

Yesterday I had lotsa fun~. Went out with Daphne. yup she is 32. I worked so I waited for her in office and did some work clearing until she woke up at abt 2pm ? ha.. we were suppose to confirm the time and location etc. I waited for several hours before we met at Harbour Front station at 5.20pm:)

Right after, we went to do some shopping and look out for restaurant to go to for our christmas eve dinner =] well, but ofcoz the dinner doesnt consist of jus me and her la.... she is inviting alot of her guy friends for the christmas dinner too ? it's likely that we will be settling at jack's Place at Marina square... after which we plan to go St james power hse to club the night away.

Just when i tot i may not have plans for christmas hee.

Anyway after our dinner at harbour front food court we shopped a little more before we proceeded to Marina Mandarine to chill out. I had scatcherback and she had a mocktail. At 1.30am we ordered fries to eat and continue chatting. Finally we left at 4am to take cab home... First dropped her at Bendemeer where she lives den headed back to hougang home.... and the cab fare was just $16.20. Way cool.

Today by right have to go for run de but coz went out so late so wont be doing so already. Hope my power remains!

Wad else.... other than working hard to spend the money which i got from my year end bonus, i am also working hard to earn them back via some part time jobs given by vivian and kiki ~! so as i spend, i work.. in that sense i try to balance things up a little so that i dun overspend... as christmas season is around the corner, gifts etc are on the list baby... shopping too... so i gotta watch my money traffic!!

Another update.. i have moved to the new office in level 3. it's way cool~ i hope it would be a great new beginning.

Lastly I hosted the 2008 Year End party for my section. It was a total wham! and success and I thoroughly enjoyed the whole of the party. It's also thanks to the great organizing team that everything could turn out so good. Joanne, Ivy, Fariza and ofcoz myself.... Joanne plans mainly the game and helps with coodination with Ivy on the prizes, Fariza on the food and myself for program arrangement plus ideas. So I planned the program itinary and helped with the logistics. Together we also decorated the party area to give it the best christmas feel there is. It was a success and I was all smiles that day.

Next up, it's time to step up on my boxing training and work performance in the work place!

GAMBATE!!

Singlehood and upcomingz..... and past few weeks!
woo i have been single for how long le...... dun even know which is the exact day i should count myself as being truely single ? coz the beginning of breakup wasnt easy... we still wanna behave as though we are still together or we belonged to one another when it was just the opposite which we need to get used to..

there are times i wish there is always a someone who can company me whenever i needed that someone or anyone... but when i dun get that somebody and is left alone to ponder over what over things tat has yet been done or is coming in the near future, i realised that i can actually take the free time that i have to accomplish them. Rather than to just think about going out or just have someone to cling to. Yes, cling on to, or have someone cling on me and haf some fun.. for eg. today i am really tired coz of yesterday's intensive and wonderful boxing training :0 and yet towards the end of the day i am thinking abt who i can ask to go out or to makan and kill (or waste time) with. and ofcoz i didnt manage to find anyone and that is why i am here now, updating my blog? :P i gotta do everything quick tonight baby... and hey, it's gotta be early lights out tonight coz tmr's ganna be another long day at work then some good training coming ahead baby.... u betcha.

I win the fight for all these people who are right behind me in full force when I do ma battle. I will settle for nothing less. This shall be my biggest success and celebration in my Martial arts journey till this day. I will rejoice and my people shall rejoice with me.

Urgent Leave and Need for New Phone..
I am on urgent leave today!!

Got things to do la... Met up with Wendy today =] had breakfast at Lavendar. 2 soft boiled eggs each, 1 piece of bread each and one glass of ice milo each!! We met up just to catch up and had a great time together =) as she took half day off she left for work nearing to 1pm 0_o. Oops. gonna be a bit late... Took the train with her till Outram and we parted there. The other reason I took leave? I had to visit my chinese doctor to get my wrist and bruised knuckles treated again.

I went to ah ma hse there de Quan Qi Tao for treatment :) they got really good and nice physicians there, although i dun really fancy the treatment process..

After the treatment i went to ah ma hse to see ah ma and take back two things. one the is monkey that june bought for me and the other the ring she bought for me. Both of which I left at granny hse, one is forgot to take, the other is put there for safe keeping.. wonderful... now i got two damn BIG soft toys on ma bed.... hope dun have any side effects coming from my mum or dad. I shall post their pics up soon ha. That aside, ah ma took two jabs on her knee to treat her reumatism pain. Coming sat she will be taking one last jab into her knee and hopefully the pain goes away from her knee for good.. she gotta exercise more!

Nowadays I really spend money like water.. mostly on myself though... now i really do know how to pamper and take good care of myself le... coz no longer got people give special attention le, have to take over the role ha. So wad's my latest purchase? EPA DHA fish oil that cost me $70.00 !!! *ka bish* *falls off chair* ... I know it's kinda ex for 130 capsules but it works well for me so I just buy lor.. hopefully it serve me well for the next one or two months. I am really tired of feeling tired. I want to be enegetic and full of life every single day of my life. I will take responsibility. God please support me. I so happen to help kiki with 2 shows yesterday night and earned $70.00 so I guess it's not too bad.

And Yes, i almost forgot abt Lydiana's bdae celebration. It's one filled with lots of anger, hatred and frustration lol.. Won't explain why though.. Nevertheless I bought Lydiana a cute mouse piggy bank from Precious thoughts that cost more than $10 and less than $20! We had New York New York for lunch and I must say the food is pretty good. Knowing that I got mild sore throat June bought me my favourite Hudsons cough drop that always work for me. Thank you again and sorry for many other things. On top of that, she bought a nice post card like, card with words of encouragement the 3 guys present, inclusive of myself for Christmas present. Thank her again for her thoughts. It's still with her btw so gotta take from her again when we are both free. .

MY PHONE...
My current phone sucks! it has already gone nuts! idiotic! Now i am looking at either iPhone or HTC touch screen phone... they are really catching my eyes.... hopefully singtel christmas promo offers something good and i can upgrade, which will entitle me a $100.00 off the phone charge plus if i trade in my K800i I am sure I can get a great deal. Now, sit back and pray.

Dragon Ball & Me =)
I know this sounds funny but I have just finish watching 3 seasons of my childhood favourite cartoon, Dragon Ball. The story mainly revolves around a few main characters like Gouku (Sun Wu Kong), Vegeta (Dar er), (he is one of my favourite character as I feel I resemble him alot. Aggressive etc. ) and the rest of their friends and family members fight to protect the human race and the Earth. In times of danger and urgency, they need to gather all the 7 dragon balls, which has star(s) inside the orange dragon ball and the number of stars inside will represent the ball number etc. For the first ball will have only one star and the 3rd ball will have 3 inside it. Upon collection of the 7 dragon balls they would be able to summon the Shenrong (Shen long), the dragon and allow them to make a wish upon it for it to be fufilled, most of the time to revive the dead or for stronger power (for the bad guys if the bad guys got the 7 dragon balls). Each time the Shenrong appeared and granted a wish, the dragon balls will be disperse into different parts of the Earth or universe towards the end seasons before they can be gathered together again for the same purpose.

So yea! at the age of 24 i finally get to finish watching it!

In my younger days I would spend loads of money just to buy Dragon Ball cards and collect them, each time hoping to get a gold card (appear as shiny cards, some of which are pealable, just like a sticker). Worst I actually did a silly thing. I threw the cards away!! -_- stupid stupid stupid me!!!! I was to be blamed. What to do I was still a kid and naive in thinking. I went to attend church service while I was a kid. During the 'classes' the 'preacher' would advocate that all things other than god are evil. Even cartoon characters like carebears etc are evil. why? coz they gather in circles and that's a symbol of satanism. I am not sure how true is that but I believed nevertheless. Gouku could kamehameha power so that is not good too? I thought... after some consideration, I discarded some of my dragon balls and WHAM! there goes my favourite collections and all the money invested. Good game haha... anyway it was just a childhood thing :)

Anyway while I was a kid, during my primary school days, I would go to the comic shop beside my mum's mix vegetable rice shop at Upper Serangoon shopping centre to browse through the dragon ball comics although I never completely follow the episodes. I just read one episode here and one episode there and I will still like the story ha. On an occassional basis, the comic shop uncle would play dragon ball videos and sometimes my brother (jianming) and I would just stand there to catch a glimpse of our favourite manga, anime idol until the uncle stop the video, leaving us grumbling to ourselves.

So what about Gouku? Well he is a Super Saiyan who never gives up protecting his love ones and the Earth in particular, which is always attacked by valiants who seek to destroy it or just with the aim of destroying every saiyan alive for the purpose of revenge. Even in the most impossible of senario to win, he would just stand on and even make stupid jokes as though the situation isnt serious enough ha. He is super optimistic! But like I said Dar er resembles me the most and I think he is the coolest even though he is never able to match up to Gouku in terms of strength and power. He is competitive (towards Gouku) as he always think that being the Prince of the Saiyan he should be the most powerful being in the universe, which he eventually realise he is not but accepts it. Through seeing Gouku fighting and winning battles he realised that he is never able to reach Gouku's level. So what's so cool about him? It's his stern and always serious character ha. And well even though he is not as powerful as Gou ku, he is still very powerful. He is the Prince of Saiyan afterall =]. In the end of the Dragon ball episodes the highest level they reached was Super Saiyan 4 (Chao ji sai ya ren 4) way cool!!

I am just very happy that I get to finish watching My Favourite Childhood animation la. =D

Me.
In retrospection, I am not really that positive like I was before. In fact I am feeling negative more these days. Anger, listless, moody, upset and maybe even hatred, regret and remorse. It's kinda sad sometimes when I look at myself. I will ask, why am I like that and why do I have to go through such a tough journey, from while since I was young? It tough sometimes although I know I need to hang on and hopefully get out of life more positive and successful. In life, I know that we need people to be around us in order to survive well and live with contentment. But unfortunately, I cant. I dunno how to live with people, treat or to relate to them, work with them! and it's making my waking in moments in life painful sometimes. That's not what I want! I would like to have friends too? I would like to be appreciated and loved just like anyone else. What do I do? Blame my unloving parents who were not able to show love and care for me? Blame the people who once harmed me? Blame the people who said the wrong things at the wrong time and taught me the wrong things? Blame them for condeming me while I was young? Blame god? Blame myself? Yes, they are to be blamed. No doubt about that. They are the cause of my development, who I am today, confident anot etc. Secure or insecure within myself and thus, with or without the abiliy to face society and people outside of my home or family.

But what can I do? It's just that I feel things could be better. Not like that. Not like what it is now. I just hate that I have to go through all these, most of the time by myself. It's not easy.

Forgive me if I wasnt the best I can be for you like I wanted. I promise I will get myself out of this shit and be the best for myself and everyone, bringing success and happiness to all that has or will cross my path, just like Gouku.

Shopping Spreee!!!!
Today is Thursday, i call it my 'rest day'. wad do i do? I struggle whole day in office trying to keep my eyes open and look always on the ball, until i doze off. why? coz it's a 'rest day' remember.... why? coz i have been training like a mad dog for the pass few days? until now almost can talk to dogs liao. who knows, i subconsciously learnt the dog language too? woof! woof! woof! -_- ok nvm. den, wat happened? i asked the tupid june out just for dinner, not like i wan to feed her tiner, straight away reject my invitation. cant even company awhile. irritating girl %- oh well, who ask she forever got work, forever eat at home, forever this and that la. no wonder she is called stone cold stunner. never ending stun wan. den i kenna the choke slam, stone cold stunner etc. lagi bagus. den reach home need to pump oxygen into my heart and lungs to sustain my breathing. kns... oh well it's not all bad though, upon reaching hougang station i took out the shopping list which i prepared earlier in the morning... tooth brush la, deodorant la, play game la, hair cut la.... cough drop la.... all these i settled at hougang mall guardian and well, just at guardian. except for my hair cut which i did at the bus interchange itself. in all i think i spent more than $20 on my way home considering i had to settle dinner myself at the central too.. alone, eat mee pok mai hiaem. coz why? no one company la so simple. suck thumb, really. i do feel more light headed now though as i can finally relax with the new hairdo i got! I went to QB House btw. just $10.00 for a good hairdo~ it's just like a woman pampering herself by going to do hair and go to spa etc. i like doing that some times. actually pass few days after training i dun eat dinner for those nights? coz my mum doesnt cook dinner for me anymore? and after training would have been too late to find fooda. at most can get a bottle of drink and one creamed bread to eat.. -_- dun burn out also hard ha. in the office, jeremy and i got to work together again yeah. we were tasked to clear the store off documents which were stored in the storeroom. i do feel regret that we are not really good friends now... it's just me... shutting down myself etc... if not i know it will be fun to joke and just be able to mingle around with the likes of jay iv, carrot.. etc.. but ofcoz there's always bond girl 'the fake' 008, Mike, Nick aka Toner, Joanne, Ah shi to listen to my crap and raliya, my team mate :) i seem to keep forgetting i bought a new mouse as i realised that i keep using my ibm centre cursor guided rubber to move the mouse than to use the real mouse to move the mouse. btw today is joanne's bdae. Happy Birthday Yan Lin! ;)

Time for bed.... Nitez! btw, june sucks. u suck june. today.

My weekend
Just yesterday i was putting up the, 'THank God it's Friday!' Banner... Now is already coming to the end of Saturday! ha.

So this was how i spent my weekend till now. On Friday after work i went with wpas's new assis manager to hong lim to check out exhange rate for thai currency as her friend will be going to thailand and she is checking out for the best rates den change for her friend first . After some comparison we settled for the money changer she usually patrons and did some cash exchanging.

Right after that, i headed for city hall to meet up with June and Deliwati =] for dinner, chill out and well, a little bit of shopping! Del was having gastric from morning so we had to get some food quick incase it gets worse. So we quickly headed for Pizza Hut in Marina square. We ordered individual set meals which costs abt $11.90 each with the choice to choose either Pizza, Pasta or baked rice as our main course, one drink of our choice, 2 bread sticks and 1 soup of the day! =] As a side dish, we order honey wings to tinger our taste buds! =D I choose some beef ball pasta, june choose Meat Galour Pizza (which tasted really good) and del chose Hawaiin Pizza for her set meal.

For our shopping, i went home with two new GIGANTIC soft toys from Mini Toons o.0 ha. =P Courtesy of june =p i took two as i had a hard time choosing between the big monkey or pink rabbit. First of all, pink is a girl's colour (the colour of the rabbit, the soft toy which i really prefer), whereas the monkey is brown in colour and look more 'man'? That caused me to have a difficult time making the decision so in the end i decided that I just gotta take two and that did the trick. Becoz of my long decision making time in the shop i was made to pay for the cab fare so that the two ladies can reach home on time and safely plus soundly. -_-

That was friday... Home sweet home at ah ma hse in Bedok .

Saturday. Dentist Visit.
Woke up 7am in the morning, had a quick breakfast and prepare to meet June at the Dental centre at 8.30am for 'annual' cleansing -.- (by right should be half yearly). End up June didnt get her teeth cleaning done as doctor disallowed it because she was having flu. Soon after it was my turn. Ouch, sums up my visit after one 1/2 year since i last visit a dentist for cleansing. It was completely complete cleaning though so i guess it was worth the pain =] the 'pain' cost me $60.

My 2.4km run
After the 'pain' i accompanied june to the market to do some marketing den headed home to take a small nap before going for my run in the stadium.

As my IPPT (annual army Physical fitness test) is around the corner, one that has to be taken before my birthday (15th Jan, btw =p) i want to know where i stand currently in terms of my stamina and speed after my strenoues training in boxing for the past months which made me feel physically stronger than i haf felt in a very long time. 11mins and 7seconds. I had to hold my hp to start stop the timing for my run sia... Not too bad considering my best timing while i was in army was 11mins 20secs. But in order to get gold i have to get a timing of 9min and 45secs and below? -_- . Gotta step up on my training liao! =)

back home at ah ma hse, i took shower, ate lunch , took nap again and said goodbye to ah ma for Golden Mile Complex. I wanted to see the Muaythai gym that spider man told me about and so i did. I even saw a familiar face there. Saw how the class was conducted and what the charges were like. Quite enlightening. I left shortly thinking i might try out one day class with them.

End.

Lotsa things to settle now~ all the administrative stuff etc.. and not forgetting the Man U and Arsenal match!!! half time score, Arsenal 1 - Man U 0. Crosses finger that Man U can bounce back with a draw, or better, a come back win..

Pens off!

Coffin
I watched the Movie, Coffine today! What a great show :) it was really worth my money. I went to watch the show with Ms Xuan, a friend i got to know online. she is 24 this yr a very simple and nice friend. Actually she was having cramp but still took the time out to catch a show and do some shopping with me. Thank you Mermaid =] hope your cramp go far far away from you soon : ) Ah yes, the Movie. It was a show that starred Karen Mok (Mou wen wei). It was one that I really enjoyed and one show that glued me to the cinema chair throughout the screening. Not many other than The Red Dragon (sequel from Hanibal) and the likes of Geisha and The first Matrix movie captured my heart. I would rate this as the best asian movie i have watched so far.... simply got my five pop corns.

And so Ms xuan and I met at 1pm, ate at food court, and waited for the show which will be starting at 3pm. i ate mee kia and drank soya bean hee... after the show i went to buy my protein powder!!! finally managed to buy it as I 'planned'!!! other than that i also bought Chicken essence hee =D now i really know how to pamper myself.... ok la it's also abt taking care of myself... if i dun take care of myself then who will?

after the small shopping hands got big bag small bag ya.... so the next logical move? go home lor.... ha... there was pasar malam so we go there for awhile before going home.... Ms xuan bought two clothings before she bought a ramly burger and i got my roti john before we headed our own ways back home, her back to bp and myself to amk den back to hougang =]

lazy la... reached home le but still didnt iron my clothings -.- may November be a good month wor.... well, i already got off good with a good movie~

Halloween
So fast and we have reached the 1st Day of November -_- dunno if this is good or bad sia.... but first of all I wanna thank June girl for editing my blog for me and making it look so much nicer and personalized. How many times do I have to thank this girl sia.

We watched a spookily freaking lame show haha. The Tropic Thundar!! damn lame la... every other scene u will hear a fuck word. wad a fucking show haha. I was thinking might as well watch RA show. oops.

Updates =]
It's been months since i update my blog I realise ha. I keep want to make it a point to do it but always have reason to postpone typing down what's been happening in my life right now. Infact it took me quite abit of a determination to go to this site and start typing! amazing but true haha.. now i am hoping i can keep typing and finish my 'job'.

Well well well. let's begin with my family. Recently has a tiff with my mum and we are no longer in talking terms.. as you know woman.... they like to nag nag nag non-stop. i cant stand it man haha. cant stand so dun talk lor. every time talk kenna penalise this and that think i still dare to approach her ah. all this do give me bit of a stress la. Small things like this throws you off a little sometimes.... but i do know that things will get better! as long as i remain confident and be a bit more proactive in terms of communicating to her.

And yes, my brother's birthday is coming soon so hopefully can organize something so that we can all get together again hee. i will be the person organizing this get together >.< my brother will be 21 soon. it's suppose to be some special thing yea? now we can only hope for a good dinner haha...

Friends
Recently June invited me to go Hari Raya hse visiting to her besties, who are also my good friends' hses. It was really fun and as usual we have a great time together. The two buddies of june and i are Del and Lydiana. U guys are the best! Del even gave us Green packets! ha. she was quite generous with the amount too even though we are all of the same age at just 24 this year. Let's congratulate her as she will be officially married next year in march!! hee. Looking forward to attending her wedding. After visiting are done, June and I went to parkway to makan and the basement at one of the chinese restaurants.. yummy!! I love the food.. not too ex but also very nice. We ordered some chicken herbal noodle and our usual yang chou chao fan ne. And as usual we will share share =] half half to get the best of both worlds. June was not feeling well but still accompanied me to buy my swimming trunk as I am going swimming the next day so I really appreciate her effort. Thank you June. After that we went home and home sweet home... =]

The swim wear cost me $31.00 !! so expensive!! and the worst part? it's loose... my 'brother' feel like it can slip out anytime >.< sharks man... too loose for my own good ha. From the way i put it, yes, I have used it haha.. loose sia... den throughout the whole water activity i constantly need to adjust it sia. damn embarressing -.- and each time i do that i pray that nobody is looking -.- sibei paiseh....

Talking abt that, I went swimming with my buddy, Nicolas at Wild wild wetta =] to be honest it was my first time to WWW. and it was fun. The first thing we went for is already the scariest 'activity' in the theme park. The 'U' shape slide drop. it was like dropping off a cliff which is literally vertial and I was the person facing down lol. two of us really screamed like a gay for that. man. Then we went to observe other people doing it then we realised that we were the only people who screamed -.- nvm. we also tried the Tsunami. Play like boys only... pretending to be surf boys, jumping here and there. at the end of the day look like two over cooked lobster. after that i company nic to Sim Lim to have his PSP repaired, went makan den head for home, officially as hunks with nice burns (*not tann). Nic and I usually talk abt boxing, muaythai and other fighting stuff =] even our swim is meant to be for body conditioning. Everything we do has to have a purpose coz we all want to become stronger and we want to be the best.

Myself.
It can be quite boring being with just myself sometimes.... I need a mate . someone who can give me more attention, * etc. I have lost one so now it's more of a me, myself and I. Moreover I have made a pact with my ex not to contact each other and wished her all the best with a prospect that she currently is having. Many a times i would feel like contacting her but I will just hold myself back for we have made a pact. There were times when she ever told me that, life is so much better without me in the picture. So i suppose i am doing the right thing eh? Nvm I guess. So much for that.

In my work place in Ministry Of Manpower, I am a committee member in the Social Development club. It's just like SDU whereby we promote dating activities for singles within the Ministry. Pretty cool eh? yea, so there was this Dr Pat love seminar which came abt and SDC members were able to attend it at half price, just $10.00 to attend a full day seminar with refreshments and lunch inclusive at Amara Hotel. Aint it great!? =] So I went and got to learn a little more things abt love, how man and woman behave and think.... their differences and how so den can they live in harmony and happily. Was greatful that I went! I got to make some new friends too and that was that, a day with time well spent.

shortly after, there were actually media coverages of Dr pat love abt her life and such and why do guys in sg need to be taught how to date by a foreigner etc. I felt that it's really bull shit. Singaporeans and their liking to stir up news for nothing productive... what's up with their head man. Feel like slapping those people who brought up those issues or topics which were irrelavant. oops, me and my slapping thing again. =p this one Jie ying will know very well haha..

Boxing
what can i say, i am training much more consistantly now. going for run whenever possible or when i know i am going to rot at home staring at the pc.... again... push up regimes has now became a routine too.. my arms becoming bigger and definitely stronger too. working towards becoming the super human like mike tyson =].

Guess what, recently during one of the sparring session in my boxing gym, one guy was actually knocked out cold. I pity that guy. His ego and moral was definitely crushed by the other guy who gave him that powerful blow to his chin. This is actually the first time we ever saw a knock out in our boxing gym. It really showed that him, my friend, Fikri who is only 19 yrs old age has alot of potential and power in his punches. So in the changing room i said this to him, "You are next". haha... Now he stress liao... everyone wants a piece of him. Everyone wants to take him down now. So who will be able to take him down? I shall update again when I come in to write and update this small blog of mine again...

In the mean time do take good care to all the friends who are friends to me and truely care... Mr Fish is gonna ROCK THE WORLD.

I can see that she has somewhat lost the fire in her eyes. I do not want to see that. I want her to live her life happy every single day. I hope i can do more for my dear.... Please be happy and healthy every day. i didnt plan what to do exactly so when that happens, it physical training for me. first comes push ups, den comes hand grip. Then i have shadow boxing. then i went to the stadium nearby to do the 'qigong' run. did the 'bridge' thingie too and after chin up, home sweet home to ah ma hse. Took shower den makan lunch at 2plus. Next thing is nappy time! woke up, drank water then go toilet. eat dinner, watch tv chat with ah ma bit den go home!! -abt an hr trip back.

There are so many aspects of life. Friends, Family, Work, personal goals, interests.... gao dao wo twan twan zhuan.

this month has also been abt attending courses which company sent us to, too. went for 2 courses just this month. making things happen and getting things done + problem solving and decision making. Learnt alot!!

Qigong and Me
I started Qigong abt 3 weeks ago.

My health has since improved and the training has helped me in my Boxing training too! It's that amazing.

I used to go for Boxing training after a day of work, tired and hungry. Now, with more Qi (Life energy in our body). I am able to last the whole training with the ability to sustain throughout the whole training. No longer do I drag myself through the lesson, hoping I could do better when my body is obviously tired. I get the training I need and muscles worked to it's max potential!

Let me highlight some of the benefits of the Qigong I am learning.

-Learning Qigong will give you more Qi to bring you through any activity through the day without much of a problem.

-It solves bone and joint problems

-Gastric problems can be solved with the practice of the Qigong I am currently learning too.

-The first thing it does to you when u start practicing is that it helps you digest so much better, clearing yr bowels timely, allowing you to feel great and ready for the day ahead. By having your bowels cleared, the toxins are cleared of your body leaving you a healthier person who feels less fatigue which is a common 'problem' experienced by most of us nowadays.

The list of benefits goes on.....

If you would like to know how much I am paying per month, it's $50.00.
Location: Blk 533 Ang Mo Kio Ave 5 8pm - 10pm, Tues & Fri 2-4pm on Sundays
Blk 404 Ang Mo Kio Ave 10 8pm - 10pm, Mon & Thurs

My Sifu, Mr Loh can be contacted at 90497230

It will be really good if you ask your ah ma or ah gong to learn to solve all the common joint problems they have.

Cheers!

Time for bed! =]

The Road Back
It's back to training now after one week's break.

Today, 18th June 2008 I went back to continue my boxing training. The ring has temporarily been removed for modification works to be done. On the other hand it also means more moving space for the trainees.

The experienced boxers and beginners were separated during training thus we are able to get more focused training to help us improve our skills, speed and power.

With the still injured nose which i sustained during my latest stint a open match that bled for several many minutes I was again hit on the same spot during a light exchange exercise. It gave me a mixed feelings of helplessness and frustration. But after that I cleared up and went back to train, with the bags coz they wont really hit u back no matter how hard you kick or punch them! =D It turned out to be fruitful. My jabs and crosses improved in speed and power trumendously.

The hit i got which led me to bleeding again turned out handy. I begun working on my defense. Somehow i drew inspiration from some of my fellow boxers whist they were doing some light sparring practices. That was just before I punched the bags and got the outcome which turned out good. With the defensive movements I added in, it created room for my punches to be delivered much more smoothly and with more confidence as I would be much better guarded too.

One more thing, just yesterday night before i sleep, I discovered my correct punching posture, hands slightly close to the body for tight defense and slightly elevated too. From that position, deliver the 1,2. My arms stretched all the way out with good speed and power. With repetition, the power is there to stay. It's like a present for me, coming in small packages one at a time for me perserverence and determination to claim what would rightfully and eventually be mine, The Champion's Throne.

In all, it was all good and progressive. The pain has always something good in exchange for me to take with me so it served as a source of encouragement to bring me to the next level. God bless and Pens off.

*The new boxing shoes I received as a bdae gift played a great part in my improved balance too ;)

Father's Day
Cool.

Went out and had a good time with hj. went to the IT show to get the ink catridge for my printer. it was $52.00, one black and one colour catridge. Saved some money there. When it is not under promotion, it would have cost me $70+ dollars!! So i saved quite a bit =]

That was that. We later went to mac and ate a little before I met up with my family who were already gathered at Central (at clarke quay) which is super near my work place, just waiting for me =].

My siblings were in charge of the present and me? I am giving my father and whoever attended a dinner treat! And so we went to Tom TOn Japanese Restaurant. It's a place that specialise on Black Pigs. And I mean very expensive pigs my godness.

We ordered the food and begun digging in. After the satisfactory meal, came the bill. Even my brothers and sisters break cold sweat for me. $297.55. My sister took a picture of it to commorate this day and I took out my debit card to put my signature on it. Ouch.

Nevertheless I was happy that they were all happy =] especially my father. On top of the meal, he got a Soviet Titus watch which he really likes.

Pens off.

My 2nd Boxing Competition
I had my second boxing competition on the 8th June 2008 and I came in 2nd too -_- Hopefully I dun come in 3rd on my 3rd competition -_- . It was held at Sembawang Community Centre in the early Sunday morning.

That day although I lost, I stood up all the way till the end. In the last round, I was hit on my nose, blood flew out and the ref stopped the fight. It was over. My opponent leaped away in joy and jubilation, celebrating his sweet victory.

At that point in time, although a little disappointed that I lost the match after all the painstaking training, I was proud of myself to have stood up throughout the match, in the ring. I was a brave warrior. I stood firm till the battle is over. Anyway I was focusing on the blood that was flowing from my nose ceaselessly to my shirt, my shorts, on my shoes then to the canvas.

I finally got hit and bled I thought. As I thought back, I remembered the number of times I broke other's nose and see them bled. That day, it was my turn haha. I was a little amused by it and wasnt really affacted by the fact that I am bleeding as the many who bled coz of me continued fighting, training even harder after that. They have given me the courage to take it like a man.

I want to be the champ. I will become the champion. I'll be back =]

Coughs coughs
Oh man I am having a coughing spell... Somehow I cant get rid of the phlegm in my throat or lungs and it's so irritating!!! That made me go find out more about coughing and below is an extract from http://www.netdoctor.co.uk/ just incase there is copyright issue, I hereby proclaim that this is an extract that belongs to netdoctor.co.uk.

Coughing defined.
Reviewed by Dr John Pillinger, GP
Coughing is a reflex action started by stimulation of sensory nerves in the lining of the respiratory passages - the tubes we use to breathe. When a person coughs, there is a short intake of breath and the larynx (the voice box) closes momentarily. The abdominal and chest muscles used for breathing contract, which in turn increases the pressure needed to drive air out the lungs when the larynx re-opens. The resulting blast of air comes out at high speed, scrubbing and clearing the airway of dust, dirt or excessive secretions. Coughing is a common symptom when the airways are 'tight', as in asthma. The cough reflex is a vital part of the body's defence mechanisms. Normally, the lungs and the lower respiratory passages are sterile. If dust or dirt get into the lungs, they could become a breeding ground for bacteria and cause pneumonia or infection in the breathing tubes. What causes coughing?Coughing usually means there is something in the respiratory passages that should not be there. This can be caused by breathing in dust particles in the air or when a piece of food goes down the wrong way. It could also be a sign that an infection in the lungs is making the respiratory passages produce phlegm. Coughing can be provoked by:
the common cold, which is a frequent cause of acute cough that usually settles in less than three weeks.
sucking material into the breathing tubes from your mouth.
more severe illnesses, such as pneumonia, acute heart failure or pulmonary embolism (a clot in the blood vessels of the lung).
smoking, which often causes chronic cough (smoker's lung).
asthma - particularly in children who may only cough and show no wheezing.
stomach acid coming back up the gullet and spilling over into the windpipe (gastro-oesophageal reflux).
medicines used in heart disease called ACE inhibitors.
bacterial or viral infections in the lungs, eg acute bronchitis, pneumonia, whooping cough, croup in children
rarely coughing can be provoked by psychological illness
damage to the nerves that supply the vocal chords (known as vocal chordpalsy) and chronic cough can occur.Coughing is more efficient when preceded by a full intake of air. For this reason, patients with weak muscles, poor coordination of airway closure and re-opening, or who have airflow obstruction (as inCOPD) will have a poor cough and be susceptible to complications including infection in the lower respiratory tract and pneumonia.

This is another good website I found that helps people who are interested in taking care of their own health.

Ord to 1st Boxing Match on 9th March 2008
I had my first boxing match on the 9th March 2008. I won. YEA!!!!! hahaz...

Prior to this fight, I was in Muaythai for about 3 years have since fought 5 Muaythai competition. The most recent being the one held at Hockey Village at Boon lay CC if I do not remember wrongly =] I fought an young inpiring Kickboxer who is only 17 years old as at 2008.

It was a 3 rounds match then. I floored him once with my punches that landed hard. I felt it. But he was strong and stood up. Awhile later in the match, I landed a good left kick to his ribs that caused him quite abit of pain. Once again, being strong willed, he hung on. In the last round I was clinched by the neck and took some knee strikes from him.

For that match I had to settle for a draw but, I really learnt alot from it! Totally great start for me too, to start a fight in the beginning of the year!

So that was that. Being a floating soul and 'without' a Muaythai gym I can settle down in since I finished my national service on 7th May 2007, I trained with Alvin, a Muaythai Coach/friend of mine on and off. Under him I even fought my friend and 'ex' gym mate from Hilltop Muaythai that was abt 5 to 6kg heavier than me in an 'exhibition' match for Contenders Asia, an event held in Singapore in Sept 2007.

For that match, I lost due to the last round which was filled with clinching. Clinching was an area that I had not been training for after some time and that resulted in me taking a few more knee kick to my body than I should have. I had to be on my defensive for most of the last round. As a consolation, I did have my moment in that match. My left hook caught him in the chin in the first round almost knocking him down beautifully. Damn it was good =P

On that same day I fought that match I got a call from Liz from Recruit Express, a friendly and super helpful agent whom I engaged to help me find a job when I was jobless after I quit a part time job which I held. She informed me that I got an interview for a job at MOM! Ministry of Manpower! A place where all the powerful people go! =p

On 1st October 2007, I entered Ministry of Manpower. And to celebrate that, it was Children's Day too!! No party though ha. It was the day I first met Boon leng, my manager, Grace, my assist manager, Jeremy ma buddy and Caroline, my 'shi jie'. On my first day there I remember having lunch with Ruth, Jeremy, Michael from WORK PERMIT side plus Yanling at Sheng Xiong there =)

So days went by as I settle down in my new work place.. all peaceful and well. Then there was this day. This day which I got VERY VERY PISSED, Credit to Ms Lim Jun Hui. =P I was so pissed I want to find a reason to vent my anger or an excuse to continue my path as a Martial Artist. I made that my reason. So on that very day as I was on my way back home from work I didnt alight at Hougang where I live but alighted at Little India station instead where my current boxing gym, U2Can is located at. It was a Friday I remember as we were able to dress down. I went there, spoke to the coach and requested to start immediately. It was kind of funny as I wasnt in the right attire!! I was wearing a pink polo top that is very striking in color and rusty color army pants plus a pair of rugged looking sneakers -_- totally off in attire for an Boxing class. Nevertheless I asked for permission to do it that way and was given the green light.

And so the class begun and we were doing physical conditioning for a start. Being still quite pissed I was really ON for all the exercises that was given although I was really tired after a long day at work and it was a long long time since I go intensive on 'exercise'!! Plus I havent taken my dinner.

Half way through, I got into a dizzy spell -_-. Kind of fainting sensation, turned cold and broke into cold sweat. Coach Bala was the only coach there and then. He sat me down and advised me to do a few exercises to get me back and blood flowing properly again. After awhile he asked me to join back to continue with the exercises that followed. He then asked in an not so friendly manner, "Jimmy, are you tired?!" "No coach!", I replied not like I have other options... After awhile I was seeing double of everything again.

Coach Bala being REALLY concerned decided to pour water down my head to wake me up or to freshen me up after my second fainting spell quickly got hold of a bottle of 'WATER' not knowing that it was a bottle of 100plus, happily poured over my head and everything else below. It tasted kinda good though and yes it was REALLY quite refreshing. Then he went Oops, I did it again.

Eventually Coach Sri came into our gym and joined the coaching team to guide us to become better Boxers. Both coaches showed plenty of care and interest in me as I was good with my straight punches as they mentioned several times. So they reckon that I should train and go for the competition in March that was to be held in Velocity at Novena Square, a public fight event for all to see.

With them, I trained and grew as a boxer, learning from them what I missed out or didnt get to learn while I was practicing Muaythai. So that was it, I trained hard, worked for what I aspired for. On that very day, I fought with what I had and what I knew to that point of time and I Won.

Yes, finally my work had paid off good. Finally Jimmy is victorious.

After my victory, Coach Bala gave me a hug and said that he was proud of me and that I did a great job. Coach Sri too, ever so confident of what I am capable of, came up to me and gave me a pad on my back and smiled, telling me that he knew I could knock my opponent down haha....

On the other hand, I would like to credit my opponent for being a great and sporting fighter too. As according to my coaches, without him I would never get the chance to be a winner. And I didnt say that he was good just becoz i am trying to be kind or cocky. I was actually knocked out cold by him on the 3rd round of the match. It was a clean powerful shot on my head that sent me to the canvas, making me see black screen for a second. I had to use my will to continue to climb up and fight him again, head on to seal the eventual victory. I thank my coaches and my opponent for making me the fighter I am today, making it a meaningful life and a life with purpose and something to forward to.

Lastly I would like to thank June. June, thank you for making me so angry that day. Had it not been for you I might not even be at Velocity on the 9th March 2008 to become what I was meant to become =] I promise I will only get better and Win in my matches to come..... I will become the best there is can be. That is my goal. -Pens off

Reminder of Feelings
Some quotes I find meaningful:

"If you don't bother about other people's feelings, you better don't wish that other people care abt your feelings. " -Jimmy

"I wouldn't care a shit about what you do if I had not put in effort like being truthful, honesty and care in the relationship." -Jimmy

"By making decisions only if it only benefit you but not considering what or how it would affact another person's feeling is a selfish decision." -Jimmy

Promises. Lies. Expectations. Disappointment. Satisfaction.Journey. Discovery. Pain.Irony. Health. Mood. Emotions. Mind. Control. Method. Knowledge.
People are classified as either Mature or, Not Mature. But how do we further investigate make a final decision and put a label on a person? There's a saying that put forth that one who has control over his emotion, is a mature and grown up person, spiritually, emotionally. Whereas those who live by instinct and react instead of make proactive decisions then act are termed, childish.

there has been an universal misconception about one thing. we all think that we are our mind. the truth is, it's not true. our mind is an seperate entity to us. we are not our mind. Let's take a closer look at what the mind is and some of the characteristics which it enbodies.

Our mind lived with us since we are born. it has little control over us when we are still in our 'baby' time. but as we grow older, it gets the better of most of us. in short it's a monster in us that could destroy us if not handled properly.

It has some behavioral traits:

1- It holds internal conversations in our head (like the angel and devil talking in us. something we commonly see in cartoons.

2- It likes to make judgements. 'He looks cute!' is a common one. There are worst but i shall not go into that.

3- It loves to compare. one of it's top favourite. 'How i wish i am as tall as him....' sounds familiar?

4- Dramatising our life situations. What is simplicity!? Let's go for an car accident! How abt tripping over an banana and break a bone or two. Top on it's list.

5- Thinking incessantly. Ever found yourself in situation whereby you cant stop thinking even when you are fucking tired and need a break from all that 'work'? Good luck to you.

6- Thinking negatively. 65% of what comes from that side is not positive.

7- Dwells into the past and future but never on the present moment, which is what's most important in our life. If you look back at the times which you looked into the past or think abt somethings in the future that might happen but has yet happen? How often do you feel positive emotion from those thoughts? Tell me about it.

8- Get all too emotional and likes being emotional. Shows how it's going to make you a big and 'mature' person. All the best if you continue associating yourself to this 'great' pal of yours.

When i first found out about this scary truth, i was scared. i was like, wtf. do i need to be exocised or sumthin? damn... fortunately the way out aint that tough as it might seem. atleast u and i dun need to hire an exocist yet? freak it aite.

ok, let me show some other examples of people who lost themselves to their 'best' pal, the devil living in ya.

Ever see people you jUDGEd as 'CRAZY' shouting vulgarities all over anybody going near them or just simply talking to themselves like some people are talking to them? Look at point No. 1 abv on the Mind's characteristics. These people you see are just ADVANCE stages of things went out of control. These people have basically lost their souls to their mind that took over not without permission from the 'previous' owner of the body that held a soul. Great example of the living dead, just like a zombie, waiting to be withered and blend with the soil. Talking out loud is a projection of what's going on in the minds of that person holding an internal conversation. The only difference is, Internal and External Projection. So everyone of us are more or less to a certain extend, insane too.

Who here likes to bitch around =]. well it's simply your mind doing what it likes best. All the best to you, we are talking about how, bit by bit your mind is taking grounds over you like a virus spreading in you, slowly and deadly. People who make concious decisions not to behave the way their mind wants them to, eventually gain control over their life. They are the powerful people out there. They are the happy people out there. They control their own life's circumstances. not the other way round.

Feeling all miserable even when you are all well and alive? Your mind says, well what should we do next, How abt feeling sad first then angry =p. ah i know, to add a little drama, how abt cutting our wrist. you know what i am talkin abt.

Wanna feel sad ? it's easy, look back into a PAST relationship. how long do you want to feel sad. 1hr, 1 month and start feeling all depressed? How abt this. You broke something that you know is something precious to your mother. The next thing that you will do is make a short Projection into the FUTURE. fuck she is going to drill a hole in my head. You feel all worried and yr mood dampened. When she comes back, saw the mess, gives you a pad to tell you how much she values you more. You just screwed yourself for nothing. when Living in the PRESENT, the NOW of TIME is much more fufilling than anything else in this world you find gratifying.

NOthing gives you eternal bliss other than to be able to live in the NOW. Because NOW is forever. The only time you truely know that you are alive and still living in this beautiful world. The past is dead. it is no longer real. what is NOW IS REAL. Dont waste time in the PAST ANYMORE. YOU ARE WASTING YOUR NOWs, your life. FEARING DEATH is a great example of living in the fear of FUTURE. fuck, you are alive now, the fuck with future. live this moment like the last. You never know what's going to happen tmr, next week. so fuck it.

Love anything that is presently surrounding you like it's the first time you are experiencing it, everytime. every experience is new. your hse, a book in your shelf, your parents infront of you.
The joy is lasting and lasts forever. Love for all blooms. There's no longer color, race or religion. all are brothers and sisters.

when you stop judging others you are setting your soul free of more fresh breathing air to inhale love into you and breath out love to others ard you. never will you feel such satisfaction from freeing yourself to judging others. most importantly, stop judging yourself. You are your worst critic. sounds familiar. nobody in this world other than yourself can pad you on your should and carry yourself up and start walking again after a fall. nobody is more reliable than yourself. you got to be your best buddy when nobody else seem to care. fresh air, go for it. the moment you made a judgement on something or someone else, you are prevented from living in the PRESENT moment. and at the very same moment, you are being judged too. so the more you do it the more trapped you become.

pens off for now.

The feeling.
Recently, about 2 weeks ago I took part in a Muaythai 'friendly' competition which wasnt really very friendly~ Fought a friend whom i knew who was abt eh, 7kg heavier than me and on that 'friendly' match i lost. That's not really the point I am trying to emphasize though. He was good and that was it. Although I lost, I won too. I am always a winner, that's what I think of myself. Losing never dampant my spirit. Infact it fires me up more... each and everyday after the match my burning desire to step up the ring to face off with anyone who dares step up the ring rages in my mind. I will dominate all anything that comes my way. It just keep playing back in my head like this, always like that.

That's besides the point though ha. It's not really so much about what happens in the fight, as while fighting you dun really have time to feel, you just have to keep 'doing' and never think lol. And that was what I did in that match that somewhat earned me my lost. In the ring, start thinking of what to do next is The End. what one needs to do is just fight and just fight. Dont kill the match, yr match, yr chance of Victory.

Nevertheless the time which you can 'feel' the most within yourself is the period of time before you step inside the ring. It's not a feeling people get to experience in one person's normal day. But, but, if you a criminal on the run, maybe, maybe we felt the same rush of adrenaline, fear and nervousness that's almost uncontrollable regardless of how confident you might be. Cold sweat will start flowing out of you like a drug addict under going a cold turkey phase while trying to kick away the drug addiction.

The night before? sometimes sleeping becomes a problem too ha. And that's not really good you know, when rest before the match is one of the most crucial factor ha. Some cant even sleep, I dunno. It would continue until say, 10mins before the fight itself. That, was some work itself.

Then, that match itself, when I stepped into the ring, all the fear and anxiety vanished. It was then replaced by a feeling of bliss, and even joy haha... unfortunately it got a little sleepy too haha... and the sense of excitement came in too. It was like, I finally made it up here, again. I was once again in charge of my life. I took control and did what I had to do many times over what I missed.

I won, too.

Working and Money
Finally I have officially 'entered' the working world. Just last week as of 1st Oct 2007, i begun work at ministry of manpower in the work pass division as a mso(management support officer). I got this job through Recuit express through my consultant, Liz Low who was introduced to me by Nicole, my Muaythai lady friend. Thank you Nicole!

Yup so it also means that I have left The Buffet Club. Made alots of friends there and learnt alot of things. So if you still are interested in the BuffetClub feel free to let me know and I can refer you to my colleagues who are still working there =]. A very good club especially if you are a person who enjoys Buffet dining.

I would consider myself lucky to be able to go into the jobs which I have been to as of now. All of which are healthy working places with encouraging people and people with positive working attitute.

In my new work place I report to work by 8.30am everyday end go home after 6pm although Mon to Thurs the go home time is 6pm and unfortunately no OT pay de. Friday, the go home time is 5.30pm and we get to dress down hee so not so bad. Lunch time is 1pm to 2pm! It's acutally a 6 months contract though. Hopefully i would be given a full time position after 3 or 6months if I perform well! =] Then I will get an pay increment. I need to start saving.

Need to come out with a plan to save soon. Maybe some reading will help... Ready.... Action! ;)

Buffet Club where I work Now

Buffet Club is where I work now for 2 Months plus now ever since I left My Gym Wonderland where I worked there for a month plus, taking care of Expat childrens and a good mix of Japanese and Korean children too! It was really fun working there.. And so yes, that was my first job I had right after I ORD =] .

I joined BuffetClub almost immediately I left My Gym =] Looked through the papers, made a call and got an interview with Jennifer, my sales manager ha. It's her Birthday today btw, as of 22nd Aug =] while she was still away and Andy the Angmo Managing Director took over for a few days. Kinda cool and fun guy ha.. always breaking lame jokes to keep the office environment lively. To be exact I joined BuffetClub (Oncard Pte Ltd) on the 13th June 2007.

After finding out from Jennifer that this Hotel membership program cost $298.00 I was a little taken aback. Nevertheless I thought this could be a great time for me to prove to myself that I can.
