Woo .. i mean Moo... This Moo year ah, sibei boring sia.... so wad did i do during this fantastic festive few days? Bai nian with my parents before they left for genting, took the 'rewards' :p, went to bai nian with my grandma, took ang bao from whoever i saw then go home ha. I did have dinner at my grandma hse too la on both the eve and Chu Yi... so yummy... ok now i am feeling hungry.... a few hours later i got to go back to work liao... sure holiday mood one.... may have to try keep my eyes open too O_o .

other than that, i also managed to bring myself out of my laptop (literally) and den out of my room to go downstairs to buy macdonald for dinner tonight.... so admirable right? then there is the studying in australia reseach which i used the entire of this Tuesday but still haven finish with my fact finding. What i found out is that the course fee cost 3-4 times more expensive than studying in singapore. That is not inclusive of the daily living expenses so can u imagine.. let's see wad happens in the end.
if there is anything stopping me, it will be money and my interest.... Pens Offfffff ;)

Evolve MMA
Today Nickolas and I went to Evolve MMA (Mix Martial Arts Gym). I saw the gym with all the type of Coaches I would like to have to guide me in the Martial arts path. It was really a relieve, literally, to be able to see these people can be seen in the Singapore Martial Arts Fraternity.
Nickcolas and I were suppose to go for the MMA half an hour trial class but instead we were only able to sit and observe a Muaythai class which started at 2.30pm. Why? Firstly, we were late, very late. But why were we late? Very simply we could not find the place which was so well hidden -_- Nevertheless the Muaythai class was nothing short of inspiring for me. There were about 4 Thai coaches and 1 ex-Contender Asia fighter there to guide the 'students' who have paid a hefty of what is believed to be $235 per month for unlimited training. That, is a big sum for mid income earners like myself you know.
One thing abt the instructors there. They are all highly qualified trainers there. One early 40 coach is super particular on the correct execution of techniques. He is simply the type of coach I have been looking for, the type of coach who can perfect my technique and form for optimum performance. Just by oberving for an hour I learnt the correct technique for a lead punch, cross, elbow strike, muaythai roundhorse kick and the speed of movement while 'bouncing' to the muaythai music rythm for better balance and poise. For eg. if one moves or bounce too fast, he/she will tend to loss balance much more easily.
Beautiful.
Thereafter, I headed to orchard to meet ris. Had a great time at little india , den at PS to watch the Jack Neo film. And yeah, we had our lunch cum dinner at Thai Express. The food was good !! Yummy!! and the best part? Ris paid for it =x it cost $29.00 ++, after 10% discount from a member card a friend of hers' gave her. She ordered Beef kway teow noodles while I ordered Yellow curry with chicken and potato! to top it up, we ordered the ever delicious, crispy Kai lan and mushroom side dish... I love it!!
Yesterday. Kevin Bro.
After work I jio-ed Kevin out to catch up after our so long no contact etc. He and I caught the show 'InkHeart'. Entertaining show ba :) before that we ate dinner at Shokuho at CineLeisure. I ordered Oyster in Tomato sauce pasta while he ordered Mango smoothie and Cheezy Potato curry pizza. This time I was the one who treated. The meal cost me $37.00 -_- a heavy investment indeed, considering I have only $47.00 left in the bank before deduction. Gosh , sacrifice ha. Kev paid for the movie tickets though so yeah in that sense it aint that bad~~!
After the show we headed opposite Cineleisure at the Youth park there to drink and chat... Towards the end I got sit on his bike as he sent me home in his new Bike, a Phantom, harley davidson type of bike. He riding skills, super good. I was back home in like 15mins from Orchard to Hougang. See you soon bro.
Traveling season?
Nickcolas my young buddy cum MMA fighter is set to leave Singapore sometime next week to go overseas to study for one year. My elder bro had left for China for holiday on thursday, so have my younger sister, to HongKong? -_- next is my parents who would be siaming new year by going to Genting tmr. Whatever it is I wish them a good journey with lotsa fun =)
Happy Chinese New Year Folks~! Sorry no pictures again~! Haha...

2nd Rated Year or Month ? (for that matter)
So far for the month of January. It's been second all the way haha... 2nd in boxing competition, silver (considered 2nd) in ippt (similar to napfa/army physical fitness test). Is this a second rated season or wad haha... I wont allow it to continue, that's for sure. I never belief in settling for second best.
So, let's continue to strive and get to the top and embrace the moment. It's possible, just a matter of time. My goal, therefore is to be first rated from Febuary onwards. The perfect time for transition, just after Chinese New Year ofcoz ha.
Hmmm so many things are going on... $ is running down pretty fast... after paying my $368.00 Internet + Hp bills for December and January my pocket is like torn open by a rapist -_-.... I have like less than $100 bucks ? Oh gosh how am I going to pull through this few other weeks before the next pay day~!? God knows.
Hey! maybe the angbao money can help a little? good point there =p. Help will always be there, solutions always surface when the need arise. Blessed I am. Thank God. Abundance would be fabulous.
Studying Abroad
This subject has recently cross my mind. Infact it was highlighted to me by Jody =]. She convinced me? =] Now that I have sort of set my mind on doing that, I need to think about alot of things too. Things like the money factor, the legal factor, the recognition factor, the approval factor. Nevertheless the key focus is still the money factor whereby I need to think how I can churn out the money for the school fees and daily expenses for my time there. Btw, I am considering Studying Sports Science in Mordoch University in Western Australia if I am not wrong ? ha.. The term will start in Feb 2010. As far as I know the school is recognise here and so is the course I would like to take if I do take. Lotsa reseach will be underway~ Thanks Jo, for giving me the idea. I belief I will have an conclusion soon if my interest dun eventually take preceeding importance to education and experience on a foreign land with lots of exciting possibilities.
In life it's always good to have things to look forward to. Who knows the Govt payout in March will make my decision making alot easier ? duh..........
CNY
My parents are siaming CNY ! ha. They will be going overseas leaving me all alone at home! So who wanna spend the CNY with me??? ha. Advance notice please!! Havoc time! If it happens ha. Btw I have yet to do my new year shopping? On the hind sight, my parents and siblings have bought me new clothings for my Birthday which falls on the 15 Jan.
As for Boxing / Martial arts this is the area which I am solely concerned and take key priority in. How far can I go. When will I leave boxing to develop further as a martial artist? Do I have what it takes , the decipline to follow through? This we will discuss soon....
A great new beginning shall come ;) Dreams fufilled and Wars conquered, we pray.

17th Jan 2008 - Saturday
In the morning I went to see Nathalie off at the airport together with several of her blogger friends she got to know in Singapore, in her 4 month stint here. She will be going back to Kota Kinderbreano until the end of the month (January 09) for the chinese new year season. Hse visiting and ang bao collection all the plans.
So the 5 of us gathered. It was me, her and 3 other guys i never seen before ha. Nevertheless we broke the ice quickly and soon chatted like we knew each other since a long long time ago... It was fun, we had lunch, chatted and laughed, to the point i find it rather entertaining.
Then it was the fairwell. Goodbye~! Singapore and Hello~ Malaysia~! as what Nathalie puts it =] before boarding, Brennon and I approached 3 chio bu from Silkair to help us take a grp photo to capture the brief moment we had together. It was the evidence which we could never go back to capture the time we had there. Goodbye and see u soon Nathalie~ =)
After Nat left we went our separate ways. I headed for granny 's place while the rest headed to meet their other friends. anyway of the 3 guys, 2 are in the army and one is going to the army soon. Ofwhich one is a regular in the army. Army man!
Later in the evening I met up with rick to catch a feature film, 'The Carrot cake conversations' by a local film maker, Michael Wang if I am not wrong. It was a dialogue type of show which i belief the usual movie goers would not be able to phamtom the essense or meaning to which the director wishes to potray. Why so? It was due to the wittiness of chim jokes that was funny and that 'I' understood (Thank goodness) that made it a film that was acceptable to me, which I found entertainment value in. My investment of $8.00 on a local made film was worth the money.
Once again sorry, I did not take any pictures so nothing to see.
After the show, Rick and I headed to Cineleisure, ate at Shotoku Japanese Pasta and Pizza before boarding NR 6 and headed for home. He had Valina ice cream waffle while I had Beef Belonaise with an egg. Again, no pictures, sorry. Nevertheless, it was a meal that was value for money as the two we ordered only cost us a minimal of $22.00 + . Affordable? Yes.
That was that. I took a shower and it was then sweet dreams and good nite.
Gloves, pens and keyboard offa....

Third Boxing competition
It was close, a little disappointing but a good result. That's all I can comment about my Boxing Championship 2009. I won the first match but lost in the finals. Better luck and state next time~ Now it's time to work on the recovery of my wrist in preparation for my next fight in April =]
But anyway if you are curious why I did not take the match in the finals, I would say it's due to the fact that I did not warm up enough before I stepped into the ring. Nevertheless I made it a close match for my opponent who was a gentleman at the end of the battle. I suppose he felt for me too as he fought one less match prior to our fight. No excuses though. It was a gentleman's fight for glory. This time, he got it and I have to concede to that fact.
During the match, exhaustion seeped in almost too quickly, too quickly for my comfort.. i was losing my breath quick. I was prancing around while his supporters shouted in malay to him that i am already tired and was pleading him to dash and kill the game. It created some level of stress for me too, in the process causing me to lose concentration too. My muscles were also not listening to me as they felt sore and heavy when i needed them to be supple and flexible.. Towards the end somehow I still wished that my hand was the one raised to be crowned the champion for 2009. It didnt happen but that was how close i was. :)
I am like people as Winston Churchill, Thomas Edison and even Eeinstien. If it's going to take a few defeats before i become the Champion I truely desire, I will walk through them and Eventually, Emerge Victorious.
Gloves Off =P ....
ok i mean, pens off xp
